Thanks for posting the Rolling Stone link for The Fugitive. I haven't looked at the magazine in a long while, so I might've missed it. What an amazing story and what a great movie. I'm looking forward to the re-release later in the year.

And, while I'm here, I also liked your recent piece about Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. It's a solid movie that I intend to see again. Its receipts are closing in on $400m, which, on its own, is a respectable haul, but not good enough because the picture had an extremely high budget (mainly due to the de-aging stuff?). Btw, I read in a couple of places that Mangold insisted on using practical effects, and yet some people criticized the movie for its reliance on CGI for some of the post–Nazi-era chase sequences. Mind you, the CGI work seemed mild when compared to something like Haunted Mansion or a Dr. Strange movie. Those movies (and all superhero movies, frankly) are simply drenched in CGI. So why all the fuss about CGI in Dial of Destiny that was never that excessive? And was Mangold "forced" to rely on more CGI than he initially intended? I wonder what Mangold has to say about all this. Interview him so we can find out!
