I'd like to bring up a punctuation issue, if I may.

What's with the dropped apostrophe s in that first sentence? "The benefit of making a movie based on Steven Schwartz’ and Winnie Holzman’s musical..."

That should be, obviously, "Steven Schwartz's..." (I also see the same problem later in the piece: "It’s hard to evaluate Schwartz’ soundtrack...")

I wrote about this issue four years ago, though my focus here is on the dropped s for names that end with an s: (hint: ignore what the New York Times and the Associated Press have to say on this subject):
