I read the article and saw the video and have no explanation, just as we don’t have explanations for lots of things. All I can say is that I never entertain any “God did it”–type answer because that “answer” isn’t an answer to anything. We either have knowledge about something or we don’t. “God did it” is not an answer for how life got started on Earth, and “God did it” is not answer for understanding consciousness or how “superior” intelligence can exist when there’s a deficit in the brain (of whatever stripe).

Once again: no matter the subject, no matter the mystery, anything that smacks as a super-natural “answer” isn’t an answer at all. “I don’t know” works for me!
